MAJOR POKEMON SCARLET AND VIOLET GAME BREAKING BUG: if you download the DLC or connect to pokemon go, your scarlet or violet save data can get deleted!
avoid connecting to pokemon go or downloading the scarlet/violet DLC, or risk losing your saves! backups will not help, because the game can fail to boot properly!
major yikes here. backups would need to be through switch modding because pokemon save backups are actually disabled officially. some people had postcards break it and others simply pre-ordered the DLC and everything broke. there is no official way to backup any part of your scarlet or violet save right now, since pokemon home connectivity has not been enabled yet either.
nintendo has not been able to restore anyone’s corrupted game yet.
